The piece was originally called Concerto Number 13 in B-flat “Elvira Mulligan”.  A new last movement was discovered on July 20, 1969.

     December 23, 28 and 31, 1968, Philharmonic Hall in New York City.
     Summer 1969, the National Symphony Orchestra with John Nelson conducting and Peter Schickele on piano (premiere of new last movement).
     December 27 and 28, 1970, in Philharmonic Hall in New York City.
     December 27-30, 1985 at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
     December 27 and 29, 1999 at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
